The Syngenta Photography Award, curated by Candlestar, is a celebration of artistic skill and outstanding photography. The annual exhibition aims to stimulate dialogue around key global challenges, inviting professional and amateur photographers from all over the world to submit their artistic responses. This year’s exhibition explores the theme of ‘Scarcity-Waste’ – a key challenge in a world of increasingly limited resources.
We were commissioned to create the award itself and the brand campaign for the theme and resulting exhibition at Somerset House in London. It’s the second time we’ve been invited to work on the awards with Candlestar, having created the visual language for the inaugural exhibition in 2013, ‘Rural-Urban’.
