Six months of design, three days of intense discussion
Project stories / EBRD
A meeting of minds
Every year 3,000 people, including business leaders and media, come together for the Annual Meeting & Business Forum of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) – three days of intense discussion about international investment issues and opportunities. The Bank is a major investor in businesses across central and eastern Europe, central Asia and the southern and eastern Mediterranean, and its annual event provides an invaluable opportunity to connect with customers and influencers from across the region.
Complexity and collaboration
We create and deliver everything from the new identity to design for literature, web, event spaces and signage. We develop both decorative graphics and a complete wayfinding system for each venue, a system that must contend with whatever the weather and a few thousand delegates can throw at it.
That would be challenging enough, but we are also responsible for sourcing and directing a range of local suppliers. So we’ve developed deep experience in finding and judging potential partners, then working to ensure a complex set of materials is delivered to the highest standards.
Our relationship with Fivefootsix has gone from strength to strength since the first brief we gave them. Today, the guys play an integral role in both the strategic direction and practical delivery of our annual global conferences, and we rely on their judgement and creativity at every step.Jonathan Charles
